Auto-generatedOh, yes. We're back.
Well, we've we've been here. Yeah, we've been here. We've been here. No, no. Okay. The last
We've been chatting pre a lot of pregame today.
No, no, no. Nobody chats pregame here. No.
The only pregame I was chatting is the last time you and I here were together, you took off with all the goddamn meat.
Let's just start with that one. But that's fine. I'm going to go and raid that refrigerator.
Shout out to Brasstown. Shout out to our hat sponsor.
No. No. Yes.
Gavarete Incorporated.
Gav construction. I got the sweet hats and the swag. Look at that. Hey Rob, what do you think? And and by the way, and our cowboy, our cowboy, what was the cowboy's name again? I forgot his name.
Derek
Derek Mahenteowboy. Anyway, what does that cowboy have to do with construction? I don't understand,
brother. It's a lot. It's the things that happen here. It's the things that happen in our studios in a day in Miami. This is this
this is a good one today, boss.
So, anyway, listen, a damn Miami family. We have here back our commissioner, one of our favorite commissioners, you primo Rob. Appreciate you, bro.
Welcome, brother. Yes, sir.
Welcome back. Welcome back. Welcome. whatever. Listen, we like to bring you every once in a while because we really love the fact of you putting up to speed on so much that's going on. You know, you're one of those guys that really keep it real.
Amen.
You know what I'm saying? So, um, we honestly real even though there's some out there that Malanga, not going to mention you guys today, but I'll keep you in mind.
Malanga.
Yeah. Yeah. Some out there speaking.
Can we get a translation?
Malangia casava. Kasava.
Kasava. Okasawa. There are Malanga TVs out there, but I'm not going to I'm not going to mess this podcast to say who Malanga TV is out there. There's good politicians and then there's Malanga TVA politicians. But anyway, Kamish, give us a little bit update. Um, talk to me about your district. You know, there's a lot of there's a lot of moving components. District 11 is thriving. But not only is District 11 thriving, I've been saying this forever. The South and the Southwest is the future of Miami Dade County. 100%.
Number one issue in Miami, you ask anybody anywhere, take this down. As a matter of fact, light up the comments. The worst thing about living in Miami is traffic.
100%.
Right. I've said this before. How do you solve the traffic issue if you're going to build,
right? You build responsibly. What does that mean? You look at how you plan. And that's something that's never been done before, brother. Right. Like the unfortunate thing about Miami is that you've had folks that have been in power that they think election to election to election. They don't think 20 to 30 years ahead. So, hey, I want to build apartment buildings. Let's put them here. I want to build single family homes. D put them all right there. Hey, there's some green space at what what do you want to build? Let's put more homes there. What's the issue with that? The issue is right now in Miami, and I've said this before, right? I actually wrote a whole lot bet on it. You have everybody working on one side of the universe and then you have everybody living on the other side of the universe. And you have everybody in a car in traffic every day going to work or to play or for entertainment and then coming back home at the same time. If you live in West Kendall, you know this, right?
5:30 Kendall Drive.
Well,
5:30 in the afternoon.
No, no, that that's like that. What is that? What what should we call that? Mayhem. Um uh
No, but but you know what? I'm glad that you brought up the traffic cuz that's a huge thing. I mean, we both kind of live in our cars having kids and doing drop offs and all that stuff, but I have been seeing your Instagram and those turning lanes. I've gone on them and they're effective.
Absolutely. For big time, man. I appreciate that.
You know, some commissioners always say a good game, but I'm I'm like like we said before, I I'm physically seeing the changes,
not only on your social media, but driving because I was born in Westchester, but raised in in West Kendall, so I'm fully aware, especially 5:30, 6:00. No, with the football games, everybody's in every every place.
I see the asphalt trucks, so I got to give respect where it's due. I see the big ass turning lanes, which are important, especially if you're going to your right. Like, like,
see, but that that that all goes down to planning. How do you minimize traffic? You plan. You widen streets. You resurface streets. Bro, we have we had before I got here, we had some streets in West Kendall that hadn't been resurfaced in over 20 years. So, what did we do? Right? You know, you guys remember, you know, uh, during the budget, there's not enough money for this, there's not enough money for that. Bro, we went to this, we went to the state, right? Had conversations with the governor, went to the house, had conversations with folks in the house, went to DC, had conversations with our congressman, Carlos Himenez, with Maro Diaz Bolard, and we actually were able to allocate funds to resurface our roads. I've been having conversations with MDX so that we can build more roads, widen the roads. If you think if you're happy with what you're seeing, brother, you ain't seen nothing yet. You ain't seen nothing yet.
I I feel like I need to put another song.
It's not a pitch. It's not him trying to sell something. I've seen the change with my eyes. I've seen the roots.
You know what's crazy, bro? Like, listen, this is why you get into these positions to make a positive change. It is not hard. It's not hard to do good. You just want to have to try. I like what you said a little while ago that somebody some of these people just are looking towards their next election. You know, are you voting for this or are you voting for, you know, where you're going to be in in your next election, but done, but I saw the change, but I got to give you your props for and I see you out there in the street, too. And and there is a difference. And I and I have driven on those nice asphalt roads. You know, when you get a nice asphalt road and you're like, "Oh, nice. No bumps. It's straight." So,
no, you want no bumps when you have, you know, in the car, you know. But listen, Commissioner, talk to me about what happened finally with that Doge. Weren't you the initiator of Doge?
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, look, I sat down with Eric, uh, who's the head of Doge in the state. We spoke I spoke to the governor's office. I mean, you guys already know the governor is very, very interested and as we can see in the past few weeks, the House is interested in eliminating property taxes. This needs to happen. It needs to happen. We need to eliminate property taxes at the very minimum for homestead properties, right? It is ridiculous that you pay for your home for 20, 30 years, right? And then at the end of the day, the government is taxing you every year. I mean, I've talked to 70year-old, 80 year old people that own their homes, paid it all their lives, paid taxes all their lives, and they're losing it because they're living off an $800 check from Social Security. So, why is that relevant to Doge? Because I think that the one thing that our CFO Blaolia uh and the Doge team have done tremendously is identifying that we need to concentrate on necessities. As a matter of fact, if you read the Doge report, which the Doge report is out, if you read the Doge report, I am humbled that they mention me in the report because I was one of those people, and I say this humbly, right? But I was one of those people that was saying, "Bro, common sense. I'm thinking like the private sector cuz I come from the private sector. common sense. This is how much money you have. You spend it on necessities. After you spend those necessities, then you could do things that are nice to have. I think that's exactly what Doge has brought to surface. Right. Right.
It's basically explained, guys, concentrate on roads, concentrate on parks, concentrate on public safety. And I've been saying this forever.
Well, I mean,
see it in district 11 now, especially honestly. It's it's it's exactly what you said. Uh,
and you know what? I want to see this
care of what's needed first and then if anything's left.
Amen. I want to see this on a national level, bro. Like, you guys remember when Marco went in on USA ID? Here's what I want to see. I want to see President Trump eliminate income tax and he's talked about it a few times. He throws the idea out there and then everybody freaks out, right? Everybody's like, "Bro, who's going to pay for this? Who's going to pay for that?" That's that's the biggest question because last time we had somebody here and they talked about that and a lot of people kept on saying but we had a lot of other speakers that said that if we eliminate property tax and stuff there's going to be a lot of service that people cannot receive is it what do you what can you say about that? I mean is that true? Do you think a lot of people will not receive some services or
that's exactly why Blaze Engolia and the Doge report are so important? Exactly why the entire analysis of USA ID was so important because there's a lot of fat that's in government spending
everywhere, bro. Like we're not even we're not just talking about Miami. Like we're talking everywhere. There's so much fat.
And what do I mean by fat? things that are nice to have but maybe it's not the function of government. What's the function of government? Keeping people safe, right? Libraries, parks, police, fire, roads, that picking up garbage. That is the function of government. Once you do those things and you stop doing a lot of the things that, bro, they're nice to have, then guess what? You can probably eliminate a lot of a lot of the taxes. You can trim a lot of the fat and put the money back into taxpayers pockets. You know what that does for the economy? You know what that does for unaffordability? People can't even afford to rent apartments in Miami right now. Stop taking the money from them, put it back into the pockets, and just concentrate on doing what government is supposed to do.
100%. My my other question, and I want to get a little bit of your your input now that we talked about Marco and all that, but I'm going to get to that for a second. and I want to get your input on some of the national politics that are going on. But,
you know, I see a lot of people every time we chat and and like you said, people moving to Miami.
I feel that your district is is I a lot of the future here because a lot of people want to live in in in in that area.
Amen.
You know, and and people like it over there.
Best place to live in Miami.
But at the same time, you know, you've always been an advocate of the whole work, live, play.
Yes, sir.
You know what I'm saying? But also you say it with responsibilities that have to be done.
So how how how do we how do we deal with that? How can how can we keep everybody in that area to work, live and play in that area and at the same time keep it to a minimal
d and and how can we just to your point you know the roads and because more people getting there that means more traffic.
Yeah. And and will the apartments finally hit Chrome?
Because like what we spoke earlier, it's getting like Manny said, growing so fast and apartment buildings are popping up everywhere. And anything west of 162 is like super super like
congested, bro. Congested. It's over.
It's overdeveloped in certain circumstances, right? Look, I'm not anti-development, right? I'm not I'm not. And if you look at major metropolitan areas, take a place like Boston for example, right? You look at a major metropolitan area and what do you see? You see homes,
you see places where folks work. You see green space like parks, etc., right? You see entertainment, but you see it in nodes. Let's not even talk about Boston, New York, Chicago. Let's talk about Miami. Look at places like Coral Gables. What's the beautiful thing about living in Coral Gables? That you can work here. You can walk places. You can take a trolley places. This all goes down to transportation and traffic. Why? If you create these nodes where folks can live, work, play in those areas, then what you're doing is you're you're creating connectivity to allow public transportation to actually work. I told you guys before, right? I took a bus from 147th and N 8th Street in my district to downtown. It took 90 minutes. ESO, they know that I'm a county commissioner, so they were they were hauling. You feel what I'm saying?
They were going fast.
The point.
And you were there by yourself or other people?
No, there was other people there. And there are people that do this every single day. Now, imagine a world like for example uh man, you go to New York, for example, right? Um and I know that uh New York is under communist. Uh
yeah, I haven't been there. I haven't been there with this with this administration.
Communist regime. It looks like a lot of folks are upset and and they're having buyers remorse. But I digress. Uh, but you go to New York and the great thing about the public transportation in New York is that you can stop anywhere, bro. You could stop anywhere in New York and you're going to be able to go to a restaurant. You're going to be able to go to entertainment. You're going to be able to live there. You're going to be able to work there. That's the problem. Everybody lives on one side of the island and plays and works on the other side of the island. So in West Kendall, for example, what you can't do is you can't put more apartment buildings and homes out there. You just can't.
It seems that's what they're doing now. What's the down in West? We're just speaking about what would be your solution to kind of like not slow it down, but like maybe coordinate it properly.
You need to plan it. There needs to be more mixeduse projects, right? There needs to be a responsible approach to the planning. I'm telling you the south and the southwest is the future of Miami Dade County. You need to create job centers and know
so people can just stay there. They wake up in the morning they can go ahead and walk to their job. They can leave from the walk in the job. They can go ahead and then just stay, you know, eat, dine or whatever. But that's perfect. I love that idea.
Best thing for families. Best thing for small businesses. Best thing for Miami Date County. That is the future. So, how are we going to get there? We need to create those job opportunities. You guys know I've been working to bring more space tech to Miami date. Now the reason we've been doing that is because what a lot of people don't know is we are a mecca for space education. We literally have George T. Baker. You go in there in 9th grade, graduate 12th grade. I've said this before. You're zero student loan debt making 90 to $200,000 a year working on airplanes.
Always on we work we talk about that all the time in this podcast.
Brother, I just toured I just toured a Saturday. It's spectacular as well.
I just toured a satellite manufacturing company in West Kendall, sir, in my district. Okay.
I toured this company. They are working on these little batteries that they go on satellites, right? The kids that I talk to, cuz they're kids to me. They're kids. I'm 38 years old. You get what I'm saying? These are kids to me. 20-year-old kid from MIT,
right?
Uh kids from FIU, kids from Florida Christian.
That's awesome. Okay.
But they're working there, right?
They're working there, brother. They're working there. But check this out. They're working on this technology where it's like a little tiny battery that's this big and they last for 20, 30 years. That same battery is going on satellites that the defense world is going to be using. More so, they're working with a major hospital in Miami to cure blindness
with the technology with the technology that's attributed to this tiny little battery. Bro,
I read something about that. I read something about Elon Musk or something about that. By the way,
I need it. I'm blind in this side. I've been helping.
I think Elon Mus Kendall, we don't even know about it.
This is Well, dude, here's here's another thing. Here's another here's another epiphany. I just read an article. There's about 40,000 millionaires and billionaires that live in Miami. One of them is Manny, right?
Yeah,
for sure. So
imagine imagine a world imagine a world where you had people
imagine a world where you had people like Manny and all of his friends, right?
Commissioner Commission, I don't need any more I don't need any more haters out there.
But imagine a world imagine a world where you had all of these folks that want to move. I mean, you want to move to Miami, right? You want to move to Florida.
I get it, right? Like Palunteer is saying they want to come down here. All right. Well, what are you going to do for the community,
right? Because you look at New York, right? And you look at all of the philanthropic stuff that happens in New York as far as the arts are concerned, as far as culture is concerned. The government shouldn't be paying for things like this. You know what?
All those big families are the ones that support it all in New York.
Back in the day, Jeb Bush created this when he was governor, he created this uh I think it's called the Council of 100. And it's like the 100 most successful I'm pretty sure Manny's on that, right? The the 100 most successful people in Florida, right? They get together and they figure out how they can help Florida with their wallets. Incluso right now, you have Ken Griffin and you have Steven Ross. They're spending $10 million of their own money to try to bring more companies down here. Here's what I say to that. Number one, that's great. Let's bring more jobs. But guess what? Let's make sure that there are jobs for local folks. Number one, and number two, how can we create, and this is what I'm working on right now. How can we create a council of Miami guys? Because if we have so many millionaires and billionaires here, how can you guys contribute to,
you know, society here? I'm not saying tax the rich. I'm saying philanthropy, man. Let's help the culture. Let's help the locals, right? I like that. But at the same time, I agree with you and I would add some people also, just, you know, regular people that can go ahead and and give their opinion on these councils. I think that's, you know, really involving the community is so so important. We talked about that with with another person that we had here because they said, "Oh, we want to create this."
And that person was telling me all these big names. I go, "But, you know, just not the big names. Let's get regular people that have a good job but they also opinions count
and they care
and they care because to your point and by the way shout out to all these people that are coming down to Miami as you just said and bringing their companies but to your point they're bringing people from New York from California they want to move them down over here that's great for our real estate market but let's think also about the people let's think about our back let's think about the people in Miami and to your which to your point that company that's doing the batteries
and and you need and you need Miami and you need Miami influence too, right? I mean, look,
I got no skin in the game cuz I went to Crow Park. I'm not a private school kid, right?
But but but uh sir, your son goes to Columbus, right?
Columbus, Ben. Man, so much talent has come out come out of Miami.
And guess what? These the these dudes, they come back here. These girls, they come back here and they give back to the community and they want to give back to the community. They shout out the community. Marco Marco's literally literally here all the time wants to figure out how to help Miami best. And I'm telling you right now, it's that Miami mentality that's the future of American culture. It's that Ma It's that Miami hustle and the Miami understanding of Latin America and the Western Hemisphere that's going to take the world to a whole another level. It's the Miami graduates from FSU, my brother, but Flaggler Street University. Flaggler Street University. Those are the graduate, not FSU, Flaggler Street, because you have to have Lay. Shout out Shout out to FIU, too, who's doing a tremendous job and is in the greatest district in all of Miami Dade County.
We love our president there. We love our president here.
Um, Commissioner, District 11, we talked about traffic always being number one. What's something that the city or the district rather uh needs that's not traffic? Something else that you guys could be working on that maybe
the county
the county maybe that that we need a little more attention than normal.
Something something that we're working on right now is parks. Parks parks. We're going to be revitalizing, remodeling and restructuring all of our parks. Making them more aesthetically pleasing, but also making them more functional for kids and families. Families is the backbone of
society, bro. Right. and and especially in a place like West Kendall, it is the best place to raise a family. But I'm going to be honest with you guys, sometimes you look at the parks and they're not up to par. So, we are making a significant push to revitalize those parks. Now, specifically, I'm not going to get into crazy specifics, but you remember what we did with the basketball courts, right?
Yeah.
Where we we we brought major artists, right? major artists and they donated their time to repaint these basketball courts and bring bring vibrancy. We're working with another major major artist um to bring vibrancy to one of our parks. All of this being paid for by the private sector,
not with public funds, by the private sector. Man, I don't want to give it away, bro. I don't want to give it away.
We're not going to have an exclusive here.
I will tell you this. I will tell you this, my mission is to redo and revitalize every single park. And you know, when I say something, I mean it cuz look at our roads.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm telling you. Shout out to the roads, man. I've seen it. I've seen it.
Commission, let me ask you. You just, you brought up a point a little while ago that, you know, a lot of good talent comes out of Miami.
Amen.
So, we have a lot of good talent in, you know, now, you know, I want to, you know, you know, pick your brain a little bit with the whole national politics situation, but, you know, we have great talent. We have our, you know, Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, which is, you know, who cannot be proud of of of what Marco is doing. Amen. And what Marco has accomplished so much,
you know, so many differences. Are we are we prepared? How do you how do you foresee all these things that, you know, we saw what happened with Venezuela, right? What, you know, we're looking at all these things that may happen with Cuba,
will happen with Cuba. Well, I mean, I'm I'm hopeful and but at the same time, I mean, what is that going to represent for for for Miami? Do you do you feel,
brother? I think Miami is at the forefront of that very conversation. And I think picking Marco Rubio, a Miami guy, the Miami guy,
is one of the most brilliant moves that President Trump has ever I mean, he's done many brilliant moves, but it's one of his most brilliant moves because Marco Rubio, unlike a lot of people, understands the importance of the entire Western Hemisphere and and and what it brings to the table for the Americas. Brother, nobody nobody nobody is going to benefit more from a destabilized Western hemisphere. I'm talking Central and South America than Iran, Russia, and China. What do I mean by that? But we are the dominant superpower. Dominant superpower. America is the beacon of hope for the world. then we've been the beacon of hope for the world for a very long time. A very big problem that we have is that we have we have certain countries like Russia, like Iran, like um like China that they want to be superpowers, right? And they come and play in our backyard and effect destabilize our backyard. What do I mean by that? The most brilliant move that was done by the Trump administration is labeling somebody like Nicholas Maduro a narot terrorist, right? Same thing you can say about the Castro regime. What happens with these countries? What happens is that these regimes that are enemies of the United States, they use these countries to funnel drugs into America. But more so, they use drug money to fund these leftist dictators that take control and take power in our in in in our hemisphere. Nobody, nobody migrates their their country where they live, right, and leaves their family because, hey, let me just try something new, right? Like, bro, my dad was like 21 when he came to the United States, right? Like, didn't know the language, didn't know anybody here. He's just trying to make it with two kids and a wife. You get what I'm saying? Like, I'm thinking about what I was doing when I was 21. Bro, that sounds that sounds terrifying, right? But the issue is that when you have a destabilized region like Central and South America and you put these puppet narotist in charge, you cause a destabilization that
it inflicts not only more immigration, but it harms the people of the region. Now, the reason that that's important is because if you if you really think about it, right, you look at a country like Venezuela, oil gold, lithium. Let's not even talk about Venezuela. Let's talk about Chile. Copper, lithium, gold, minerals, zinc, Cuba, gold, Nicaragua, beef, agriculture, Central America in general, talent. Bro, the point here is if there was an alliance of the Americas, and I think that this is exactly what Marco Rubio understands. We understand cuz we're from Miami dictatorship,
but a lot of people don't understand it exactly a a western hemisphere that's not run by dictators, that's not run by narco terrorists where you have regular people that really want to make a difference. I mean, dude, look, look at El Salvador, right? You can say whatever you want about Boull, right? And I know that there's people on this side, there's people on that side, but but let's just let's just talk facts. This guy before he goes into this country, this is one of the most
crimeinfested countries in the Americas. He goes in and and in a year and a half, two years, boom, one of the safest countries, one of the safest,
right? Infrastructure being invested. Malay goes into Argentina, right? Argentina's on the brink of economic canab collapse. This guy goes in, boom, switches it from one day to another. What what I mean by this, bro, is like at the end of the day, if you have good people that actually care in these positions,
Yeah.
you the potential for a United Americas
from Canada
to the tip of the southern hemisphere,
I'm going to say this right now. I'm going to say this right now, but
who can compete? This is Tyson 88.
Who can compete with that, bro? This is Jordan. This is the Bulls 96 97 dog. Like who's gonna compete with that?
Who needs the European Union respectfully?
Yeah. I want to talk about some of the stuff that in the comments and stuff especially with communities and stuff about the fluoride issue in the water and stuff like that. What what's the status with West Candle and and that whole topic of too much fluoride and our drinking water.
Well, brother, he was the author.
Yeah. Well, brother, listen. Uh fluoride was just the tip of the It was the tip of the spear, right? Because at the end of the day, the health issue in America is devastating. Devastating. Uh um First Lady Casey Deantis along with Joseph Ladapo, who's the surgeon general of Florida, they just released an entire website that tells you all of the poison that's inside of the food that we eat. Basically, you go to this website, you put in food, and it'll tell you like for example, bread. Certain breads have pesticides in them. Why are we eating pesticides? Right? Certain candy have literal poison in it. Now, more than that, remember when we were having the fluoride conversation, we were talking about the calcification of the pineal gland, right? What is the pineal gland actually do? It tells your body to produce certain amino acids that, and I'm not a doctor, so don't be out here taking doctor advice, right? Talk to the surgeon general. But I've had conversations with the surgeon general.
We're all doctors. We're Hispanic.
All Hispanics are doctors. Just put Vicks on it. It'll be fine.
That's it. That's it.
Put some Vicks on it. You're good. You're good. You're good.
But the update on the situation is what? That everything is clean and ready to go. Or we still having some issues with that?
As far as the water is concerned, there is no more fluoride in Miami Dade County. And thanks to the house and the governor and the governor's initiatives, there's no more fluoride in Florida. But the health issue is not done. Okay. the Make America Healthy Again uh initiative is something that's necessary necessary for America in general, bro. Like right now, one of the leading issues with health is diabetes, right? Everything that you eat has sugar in it, bro. And if it doesn't have sugar, it has something that will derive and become sugar into your body. So you eat Doritos, you're eating sugar. You eat anything you eat, you're eating sugar. cancer. Cancer itself, you know what feeds cancer? Fuel. Sugar. Sure. Sure. That that's already been proven.
The Make America Healthy Initiative is crucial. It's crucial. And look, I I'm going to be 100% transparent. Florida has been leading the way. Thanks to Joseph Latapo, Ron De Santis, Casey Dantis.
Florida has been leading the way. Look, a big conversation that's happening right now is the conversation around peptides. I'm not a doctor, so I'm not giving anybody.
But there's a lot of people that are not giving anybody clinical advice,
but there's a lot of people that are like them and some people don't like them.
Brother, look, here's here's the thing. The thing is that medicine for a very long time has been reactive. What does that mean? You get sick, you go to the hospital, they give you a thousand pills,
you take the thousand pills for the rest of your life, right? And pharmaceutical companies make a lot of money.
Totally. Now, there are certain peptides that are FDA approved.
Yeah,
there are certain peptides that are not FDA approved, but what are peptides? And I'm sure that you guys can get people that are more knowledgeable than me on this issue, but I've been to DC and talked to a lot of the Congress people that are having this conversation right now in health. I've talked to the surgeon general about this conversation and these are literal amino acids that your body already makes. Like they already generate these things.
What has the surgeon general told you about that? So basically they're amino acids that your body already makes that because of the food that we eat because of many of a lot of the poison that we put into our body that thanks to Casey Deantis and Joseph Latapo now we're seeing where all this poison is coming from right because of all this poison
we're blocking a lot of the signals we're blocking a lot of these signals
making a barrier
you're making a barrier to optimize your body bro like look you read the Bible Right? Moses frees the Israelites, goes into the desert for 40 years. He is 80 years old when he does this. What's the difference between Moses and us?
Not peptides. Not peptides, but definitely not fluoride in the water. Definitely certain definitely certain dietary restrictions that exist in Leviticus. Right? When you read Leviticus, they're basically telling you what to eat. The processed foods weren't there. The food died. The colorings. All of the poison wasn't in. As a matter of fact, like, bro, look, you go to Europe
and you eat pasta all day and you come back and the six-pack's still there.
But I don't have a six-pack. But I don't have a six-pack. And and and Kiko has a 20 pack. But at the end of the day, we go to Europe and we have a wine and pasta.
Like when we found out the Chick-fil-A sandwich has 52 ingredients.
Yeah. Well, dude, listen. And they're offering free free food and free uh lunches on the first day of school to kids.
I'm telling you right now, go
two ingredients, bro.
I'm telling you right now, go on exposing.
We got to find out about that. We got to find out about that.
It's public record. It's public record. I'm telling you right now, go on exposingfoodtoxins.com. Exposingfoodtoxins.com. Thanks to Casey Deantis and Joseph Latapo. You can just type in certain foods, look at certain foods, and it tells you all the toxins and poisons that you're inducing into your body. exposingfood toxins.com healthy Florida first is the initiative but having the conversation of peptides what happens here is these are preventative medical treatments these are things that optimize your body you're not adding you're you're not in you're not like injecting uh foreign toxins into your body you're basically telling your body
bro work at an optimal level Imagine if you had a Ferrari right you have a Ferrari and you put regular gas and you don't change the oil, what happens to that Ferrari in 5 years starting out.
Now, what happens if you have a Porsche and you put premium gas and you overhaul the engine every 6 months? What's going to happen to that car? How is it going to run? You see what I'm saying? That's exactly what the whole peptide conversation is. And when you look at somebody like RFK Jr. who's 70some years old and does more push-up than more push-ups and pull-ups than me and Francis combined, brother, like there's something there. There's something there. By the way,
I think you got another add or two more people.
You were Francis, by the way.
You got to add more people into
I think you can take it, bro. He's been looking swole.
I So, we actually did the We actually did the uh health challenge.
I know. I saw it. That's
We actually did the health challenge. I got him on the push-ups. He got me on the pull-ups.
You're a little bit leaner in there. You're more You're more Bruce Lee strong.
All ripped and stuff.
But no, that's great that you see your your commissioners as well getting involved with health. You know, I've lost a little bit of weight and stuff. Man, he always rags on me for being a big guy, but I've lost like 120 pounds in like two year and a half years.
Amen. What' you do?
Nothing.
I had No, I just after 7 o'clock I wouldn't eat
and uh you know, obviously my game is eating and stuff, but it's worked out for me and and I do it for health reasons for my kids.
Now, when you go look at places, you're just having little bites. You're not having the
little bite, but I went from a 4X to a 3X.
Okay. So, I'm going to tell you this because you you bring up a great point, right? There's a really good book uh which is literally that there's a it's the book for next month's Commissioner Book Club. It's called Atomic Habits. And what it talks about is little wins that you can that you can make happen that make big differences, right? So, for example, like um what I do with with with my food is I calorie count. And bro, it's annoying. It's super annoying. But there there's ways that you can do it where like there's there's apps that you can use and you can track you can literally talking about the technology to the tea. They can track it. They can track exactly how many calories you're consuming. But it's little things, right? It's like waking up early, going to the gym, even if you go for five minutes.
How much time do you go to the gym? You What's your routine or your weekly schedule?
My weekly schedule, I go to the gym every day. I wake up at 5. I'm in the gym. Uh I wake up at 5. I read the Bible. Um I have a gym in my house. So I work out from like 6 to about 8. Um and then I start my day.
Two straight hours.
There. There you go, brother. Rob, take that. Take that one there. That's what you should do. The next time we would bring them, we'll find out where you are.
Wake up and read the Bible.
So, let me just just say that I I don't know. I don't know with everything you just said here today. I I don't know. I maybe your calling is a little bit higher. I mean, I think you should you look maybe your calling should go to the federal government or something.
Everybody always says talk too much, but I see.
No, no, you do talk too much. I can attest that. But at the end of the day, I think that you should probably consider I mean with all these you're giving us you're giving facts out there to the folks in a day in Miami. I haven't finished my talk. Give me a second. I'm giving I'm giving I'm giving those folks out there in a day in Miami, you know, a a good view. We like to that's why we like to bring you here so you can give that whole, you know, explanation to a lot of things that a lot of people don't want to touch on, you know, because a lot of politicians don't want to talk about these about these about these subjects. So, we really appreciate you always coming and and and making it real in that sense.
And I appreciate I appreciate you guys because these conversations need to be had. You need to have these conversations and it doesn't matter whether you're a Republican or a Democrat. What's important is having these conversations. Like look, right now I'm I'm watching this show um it's on uh JFK Jr., right? Democrat. I'm a Republican. I know, right? Well, I'm not supposed to talk about this, but great show, right? Great show cuz it talks about he was actually designing this magazine called George back in the 90s. You remember this?
Oh, but which one are you watching? The one on FX.
The one on FX.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Okay. Well, that magazine I Bro, I'm a nerd, right? So, I started looking into this magazine. Bro, you know what he wanted to do? He wanted to make people interested in politics because politics affects you way more than the Super Bowl does.
Okay. Politics affects you way more than who's playing in the NBA finals.
Yeah. But we're so obsessed with the NBA finals. We're so obsessed with the NFL. We're so obsessed with what did Bad Bunny do or what didn't he do? At the end of the day, at the end of the day,
we need to have these conversations and it needs to be cool to have these conversations. And I feel like a lot of times people that are in government make people think that these issues are so complex. They're not that complex, man. Anybody can have a conversation about what they feel and what they think is right. That doesn't mean that you're right. It doesn't mean that you're wrong. It just means that we can have a conversation.
I totally agree. And to that point, I'm glad you brought that up because that's what we try and do here in a day in Miami. You said that we we get every You don't know how many comments we get from here of people. Oh, you brought this Democrat. This is becoming left. No, we don't. We bring everybody here. We ask questions. We ask questions that they people ask and we let you guys go ahead and we make let them make that judge. So, at the end of the day, you know, I know we have George, but we have a day in Miami, which a day in Miami is giving that perspective to people out there.
And Manny, to that point, to that point, because I think you're making a tremendous point. To that point, I just had a conversation with uh I just had a conversation with a Democrat. Um, and you know, we were sitting there and we were having a really, really good conversation. And he looks at me and he says, "Dude, I can't believe we're here talking and having this conversation and nobody's getting heated." And I'm like, "It should be that way. Why would Why would anybody Why would anybody get heated? I understand your perspective. You understand my perspective. Okay, we're not going to agree on this
cuz I'm not I'm not going to get let go of my values and my morals. You're not going to agree on this because you have your values and your morals. Okay. What do we agree on that is good? And how can we help the community?"
What's the middle road? Yeah. What's the middle road? And that's that's what in my humble opinion Yeah.
people want.
That's but that's how people want. That's how it used to be.
That's how it used to be. And I think it's just gotten wor I got for some reason it got all abort. It all got mixed when when when President Trump came out because a lot of people
which which I don't understand and I'm going to tell you why. Because if you look at President Trump's policies, correct? Look at his policies. He is way more JFK than Mitt Romney.
100%.
Way more% way more.
Right. A lot of people would think that JFK in his time was more Republican than was a Democrat. If you would go and compare JFK today to your point, you people think he's a he's he's a Republican
and and that's why that's why at the end of the day, we need to go back to having conversations. Not just hating for the sake of hating, but let's have conversations. Look, there's non-negotiables for me, right? There are certain things that I have my morals. I have my principles. I believe in my Bible. I believe that Jesus Christ is the is my Lord and Savior and and and and and literally can solve every problem. Right? Um and there are people that may disagree. That's fine. You can disagree. I will pray for you. Right? But at the end of the day, let's have a conversation cuz people say, "Don't talk religion. Don't talk politics." No, man. Let's talk more about this. Let's get in depth. I want to understand your perspective. Then you can understand my perspective.
If you if you can't get there, that that's fine. Listen, as your point, listen, I respect what you're saying and you guys just respect what I'm saying. And that's why we live in this spectacular country that we can go ahead and make these, you know, analogies. We can go ahead and speak our minds and we're still the best country in the whole universe. You know what I'm saying? because of those same issues.
And you know what? Like on a final note, polarization causes a pendulum, right? Many times this country has gone through this, right? Where you know it goes way to one side.
One side. There's no
And then when you shove that down people's throat,
Yeah.
it goes way to the other side.
Yeah.
Right. And I feel like for example, like in the 70s there was this thing called the Jesus Revolution, right? And it was right after the hippie movement. Right after the hippie movement, you had this extreme.
And then you had the Jesus revolution where Calvary Chapel and all these great churches came from, right? Um, right now I feel like the woke culture, right? Which, by the way, there are a lot of Democrats that are against the woke culture. They're against a lot of this stuff that they feel is toxic, right?
Some of them don't come out and really say it, but
sometime sometimes they don't say it, but Right. A and there's there's things that are wrong with the Republican party, too. sometimes, right? But at the end of the day, right, you have you have a woke extreme that happened for a very long time. And now the pendulum is swinging this way. And you have folks like Wesley Huff, like Jordan Peterson, on George Rogan, right? You have all of these conversations about the Bible, biblical principles, conservative values. You have young men, young men. You have young men right now that are understanding the value of having a family and getting married. Brother, listen, I'm a Miami guy. You're a Miami guy. I understand the party scene. I get it. There is nothing more valuable than when I get home to a smoking hot wife and two little two little girls that are running to me. Running to me because they want to give me a hug, right? and my teenage daughter who doesn't run anymore, but she when I get in, you know, she gives me a hug, she gives me a kiss, she tells me about how she's smoking everybody in volleyball at Florida Christian, and it is the greatest feeling in the world. Brother, listen, there is no popping bottle at the club. No diddy party that's going to give you that.
No, no, we don't do diddy parties. We're not did parties. No diddy parties.
Those days are long gone. And that is the best feeling.
We're not commission.
The best feeling.
It's always a pleasure, brother. Always a pleasure. But before you go, before you go, you're going to have to do this again. So, you're going to have to, you know, you're going to have to share with us. Maybe you thought about this last time, whatever, but you have to share with us again your top three go-to restaurants.
Updated list.
Update list.
Top three.
Starting with number three.
Top three goto.
Your go-tos.
Number three.
Talk to me. Come with number three.
Number three, cuz we talked too much about health. Let's talk about desserts, right?
Yeah. A little dessert.
Ice cream. I love ice cream. That's like my kryptonite, right?
Crybaby crearyy in West Kendall if you have not been the cookie monster, bro.
Damn.
Go to Crybaby Crearyy. John Faco. Great guy.
Great guy.
But the ice cream is even better.
All right, commission. Number two is spotties.
No, number two spot is cake. I'm throwing an alioop to my 14-year-old daughter. She loves the vibe inside. She loves girly aesthetic. Very girly.
Very vibe.
Listen, dad and mom, take your take the kids to cake. Number one. I mean something that date night, you and your beautiful wife, where is it a day that you say, "Honey, let's go out to dinner."
Look, Valentine's Day,
there you go.
For Valentine's Day, I take my daughters out, and my wife knows this, right? Um because I want them to understand what a man is supposed to treat them like, right? So, another shout out to my 14-year-old daughter. Uh she really, really, really wanted to go to Carbone.
Perfect. That's great. I I you know she she saw it in a in a music video and there was all these great people that were going there. Whatever whatever whatever. So that I want to go to Carbone. Um we went uh we went it was great. The spicy riatoni
phenomenal fire fire.
Very solid. The hype is real over there.
That's a pretty good list bro.
That's right.
Now in West Kendall between two buns. If you haven't been best burgers in Miami.
There you go. Very good. We got to try that one. We got to try that one.
We have the lunch boys have been there.
All right. Are we doing a little campaign for Father's Day? I know you're a great father. We're all good fathers. Uh, you know, what does it feel like and what does it Father's Day really mean to you?
Uh, man, listen, Father's Day, don't really care about the day. I can tell you that being a father is just the greatest. It's the greatest feeling in the world, right? Because there's no love. I I love my wife with all my heart, man. Like, that's that that's my best friend, right? That's my best friend. I love my wife so much. But the love that you have for your child is just on another level, bro. I can't even explain it. And you know what's crazy is like when I was young, I had a lot of friends that would tell me, "Bro, I don't want to have kids. I want to travel. I want to do this. I want to do that." And that's that sounds cool. Like the concept sounds cool, but now that I have kids, it's like, bro, I I kind of feel sorry for those friends that said that they didn't want kids because there's a lot of people that can't have kids.
Yeah.
Right. And then there's a lot of people that later in life it becomes very difficult to have kids and I've been through that right and you can't take that for granted and if you can have a child if you can be a father it is the greatest
greatest feeling in the world greatest feeling in the world. The greatest gift like God is so good.
Amen to that.
Kamish thank you my brother. I appreciate it. We love we love how you come and the the enthusiasm that you bring to this freaking day man. Great to see you, my brother.
